![]() Use their migrate or replicate function or worst case just SSH into the host, and stop the VM, SCP it somewhere else and re-register it. If the goal is to migrate VM's off this host to a newer host Veeam can often reach back really damn far on ESXi versions. You could also try managing the host via host APIs, or potentially an equally ancient version of the workstation might be able to manage the host. Note vCenter Server 5.5 I don't believe is available for download anymore. The other option is to deploy a 5.5 vCenter and have it manage the host (I believe 5.5 would be able to manage it). You could also spin up a virtual machine using VMware Workstation/player with windows 7 and run the tools from there. If you are under a Microsoft EA you'll have downgrade rights.
